Summary
Kimimaro was the last surviving member of the Kaguya clan and the strongest of Orochimaru's Sound Five. His Shikotsumyaku allowed him to manipulate his own bones as weapons, pulling them from his body to create swords, spears, and even a forest of bone spikes. Orochimaru desired Kimimaro's body above all others — including Sasuke's — but Kimimaro contracted a terminal illness. Despite being on his deathbed, he almost killed Gaara and Rock Lee in the pursuit of retrieving Sasuke for Orochimaru. He died mid-battle from his illness.
