Summary
Haku was a gentle-hearted shinobi from the Hidden Mist Village who possessed the rare Ice Release kekkei genkai. After his mother was killed for having a kekkei genkai and his father attempted to kill him, Haku was found by Zabuza Momochi. Though Zabuza claimed to see Haku only as a tool, the bond between them was one of genuine love and sacrifice. During the Land of Waves arc, Haku's Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals trapped Sasuke and Naruto. Haku ultimately sacrificed himself by taking Kakashi's Lightning Blade meant for Zabuza. His death and Zabuza's subsequent tears were the first major emotional turning point for Team 7.
