Summary
Shisui Uchiha, known as Shisui of the Body Flicker, was one of the most talented Uchiha of his generation and Itachi's closest friend. His Mangekyo Sharingan granted him Kotoamatsukami, a genjutsu that could manipulate a target's thoughts without them realizing. When Danzo stole one of his eyes to prevent him from stopping the Uchiha coup, Shisui entrusted his remaining eye to Itachi and took his own life — a sacrifice that awakened Itachi's Mangekyo and set the stage for the Uchiha massacre.
