Summary
Temari is the eldest child of the Fourth Kazekage and the older sister of Gaara and Kankuro. A fiercely independent and sharp-tongued kunoichi, Temari wields a giant iron fan that amplifies her Wind Release techniques, allowing her to create devastating windstorms capable of leveling forests. She was introduced during the Chunin Exams arc as a calculating opponent who defeated Tenten with ease, establishing herself as one of the most capable young kunoichi in the series.
During the Sasuke Retrieval arc, Temari arrived at the last moment to rescue Shikamaru from Tayuya of the Sound Four, destroying the entire forest with a single swing of her fan. This rescue mission planted the seeds of her eventual romance with Shikamaru. In Shippuden, she served as a diplomat between the Sand and Leaf, participated in the Five Kage Summit as Gaara's bodyguard, and fought in the Fourth Great Ninja War. After the war, Temari married Shikamaru and moved to Konoha, where she gave birth to their son Shikadai — a boy who inherited his father's intelligence and his mother's direct attitude. In Boruto, Temari remains a Jonin and serves as a bridge between the Sand and Leaf villages.
