Summary
Momoshiki Otsutsuki was the primary antagonist of the Boruto movie and early Boruto series. A member of the Otsutsuki clan's main family, Momoshiki came to Earth alongside his guardian Kinshiki to harvest the chakra fruit from the Nine-Tails. Arrogant and cruel, he consumed Kinshiki to transform into his fused form, gaining immense power. In the climactic battle, Naruto and Sasuke combined their power with Boruto's Vanishing Rasengan to ultimately destroy him. However, Momoshiki implanted a Karma Seal on Boruto before dying, making Boruto his vessel. Momoshiki now exists as a parasitic consciousness within Boruto, able to take control of his body at critical moments. His most terrifying act was using Boruto's body to stab out Sasuke's Rinnegan. In Two Blue Vortex, Momoshiki's resurrection through Boruto remains the central ticking clock of the series — when the Karma extraction completes, Boruto will cease to exist and Momoshiki will be reborn.
