Summary
Ashura Otsutsuki was the younger son of Hagoromo and the progenitor of the Senju and Uzumaki clans. Unlike his prodigy brother Indra, Ashura was considered talentless and only succeeded through the help of his friends and tireless effort. His philosophy — that cooperation and bonds create true strength — won him his father's succession. Ashura's spirit reincarnates through the Senju bloodline: Hashirama Senju and later Naruto Uzumaki. The conflict between Indra's belief in solitary power and Ashura's belief in bonds became the foundational struggle of the shinobi world — a cycle finally broken when Naruto and Sasuke chose reconciliation over destruction at the Valley of the End.
