Summary
Indra Otsutsuki was the eldest son of Hagoromo and the progenitor of the Uchiha clan. A prodigy who believed power alone could achieve peace, Indra was rejected as his father's successor in favor of his younger brother Ashura. This rejection, manipulated by Black Zetsu, began the eternal conflict between the brothers' reincarnations — a cycle that manifested in Madara and Hashirama, and later Sasuke and Naruto. Indra developed the Sharingan and created the hand signs for ninjutsu. His spirit reincarnates through the Uchiha bloodline, passing on his obsessive pursuit of power.
