Summary
Black Zetsu was the true mastermind behind centuries of shinobi history — the physical embodiment of Kaguya Otsutsuki's will, created moments before she was sealed by Hagoromo and Hamura. For a thousand years, Black Zetsu manipulated events from the shadows: altering the Uchiha stone tablet, pitting Indra against Ashura, orchestrating Madara's descent, and ultimately using Madara as a pawn to resurrect Kaguya. His revelation as the puppet master who had deceived even Madara — stabbing him through the chest and declaring "I am Kaguya's will" — was one of the most shocking twists in the series. Black Zetsu was sealed alongside Kaguya when Team 7 used the Six Paths Chibaku Tensei, ending his millennium-long scheme.
