Summary
Koji Kashin is a former Inner of Kara and — shockingly — a clone of Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin. Created by Amado using Jiraiya's genetic material, Koji inherited his progenitor's combat style, personality traits, and techniques, including the Rasengan, Toad Summoning, and Sage Mode. Unlike Jiraiya, however, Koji was engineered with a specific purpose: to kill Jigen (Isshiki Otsutsuki). He bided his time within Kara, secretly working against the organization until he finally confronted Isshiki in a spectacular battle, forcing the Otsutsuki to reincarnate into Jigen's body and significantly shortening his lifespan. Koji was seemingly killed when Isshiki's true form emerged, but he survived and is currently in hiding. His connection to Jiraiya — and through Jiraiya to Naruto and Boruto — makes him a pivotal figure in the ongoing fight against the Otsutsuki. In Two Blue Vortex, Koji's foresight abilities allow him glimpses of possible futures, making him one of the few beings who can anticipate the Otsutsuki's next moves.
