Summary
Sumire Kakei is a former antagonist turned ally who originally infiltrated the Academy under orders from her father, a former Root member, to unleash the Nue — a chakra-draining creature — upon Konoha. After being saved by Boruto and his friends, Sumire reformed and became a loyal comrade. She now works as a Scientific Ninja Tool researcher under Katasuke and is one of the few people immune to Eida's omnipotence charm, making her a crucial ally to Boruto in Two Blue Vortex.
